Desert Wanderings and the Promised land

The Bible tells us that the Israelites wandered (or camped) in the desert - the Sinai Peninsula - for FORTY years. Yep, like half of our lifetimes! Talk about having to WAIT, this is the ultimate expression of it!

I don't want to give away too much of this coming weekend's sermon, but I think it will be a challenging time as we consider Deuteronomy 2:1-7. In the midst of their wanderings, the Israelites "lacked nothing!" Huh?
